100 Things

1. I have weird dreams.
2. I’m petrified of fish. Yes, fish, like at the pet store. Actually, all pet stores in general scare the shit out of me, all those things flying and running around.
3. UMass was my last choice school and, ironically, one of the only ones I got in to. I’m, glad I came here though. It’s not all bad.
4. I met the love of my life on Facebook. He poked me.
5. Yes, I am sure that he is the love of my life.
6. I work as a nanny for a lesbian and her two kids. It’s an extremely interesting job.
7. I don’t know if I would choose this type of work if I had a do-over.
8. I have only 1 sister and she’s cool. I have 0 brothers and 1 mom and 1 dad. They are rad.
9. My family owns a bed and breakfast on Cape Cod. I work there in the summer.
10. Unlike many of my undergraduate counterparts I hate coffee. It makes me jittery.
11. I don’t like pets; puppies are alright though.
12. Scott converted me to like country music. Now it’s pretty much all I listen to.
13. I keep re-doing this list because some things I originally put I don’t think are appropriate.
14. I suffered with depression for most of my high school years.
15. I’ve been to over 20 countries and lived in 3.
16. I like to read blogs.
17. I’m not a great student.
18. I love Nantucket.
19. I miss my Grammy.
20. I’ve had a string of horrible boyfriends in the past.
21. I think the show #1 Single is funny in a pathetic kind of way.
22. I love Friends and Sex and the City.
23. Gummi bears are the shit.
24. Addicted to cereal. Particularly Wheaties, Total, Kix, Special K, and Cheerios. Oh, and Frosted Flakes.
25. I think every woman (wow, how sexist) should have a copy of Betty Crocker. She rocks. Thanks Mom!
26. I am nervous because WordPress doesn’t have a spell check.
27. Although I do think I am a pretty good speller.
28. I love theater.
29. I can’t sing very well, but I do anyway. Especially when I’m alone in the car.
30. I’m not a girly girl. Sometimes I try to be but it doesn’t stick around for long.
31. I went to my senior prom with 2 dates.
32. I am 5 feet 4 inches tall without shoes.
33. I wear a size 8 in clothes and shoes.
34. I always wish that I could know what size other girls wear. They should have to wear a sign or something.
35. I love reading Glamour. And Self.

38. I want to throw all cats out a window. A really high window.
39. I’m really a nice person, honest.
40. The only concerts I’ve been to are Dave Matthews Band. 3 times. 2 of them were fun.
41. I have a compulsive hair-cutting disorder.
42. I’ve changed my major 3 times so far.
43. It’s very rare if I can sit down long enough to watch an entire movie at home.
44. I love going to the movies. But only if there’s popcorn and soda.

47. The only reality TV show I watch is Project Runway. I love Heidi.
48. I learned to knit from an 8 year old.
49. I play the violin and piano.

53. I currently live with 2 guys. It’s very interesting.
54. I haven’t read the Harry Potter books but I love the movies.

76. When I first got contacts, I couldn’t put them in for 2 weeks.
77. I don’t accept compliments very gracefully.
78. Scott sometimes slaps me (not hard) when he says “Are you beautiful?” and I say no.

80. I went to 3 different high schools.
81. I love the beach.
82. I wish I could play the guitar. But really, I just want a Fender.
83. I have huge boobs and I hate them. All girls who say they want big boobs are seriously wrong.
84. I love to work out on the elliptical trainer. I could go for hours as long as I have the right music.
85. I’ve only been pulled over once. It was by a smart-ass cop in Vermont who drove a mini van. What kind of cops drive mini vans? It was Christmas Eve. I didn’t get a ticket even though my insurance card was expired.
86. I am a detail freak. If you know me I probably question you all about your life. That’s just what I do.
87. I pee in the shower. Who doesn’t?
88. I could go to Target every day and not get sick of it.
89. I love to read; Jodi Picoult especially.
90. Sometimes I go to the movie theater just to buy popcorn without seeing a movie.
91. My birthday is December 16, 1984. Presents are always welcome.
92. I used to take pictures at weddings for money.

96. I ski, but not very well.
97. I spent a week in a hospital for depression.
98. I worked as a live-in nanny for a family in Nantucket for a summer. It was awesome.
